Focused.
You take learning seriously and keep improving instead of stopping at “good enough.”
I could have sent another message. A few lines. A few emojis. Something that disappears between notifications.
But some memories feel better when they have somewhere to stay.
So I made a small corner of the internet for them — and for you, Jing Xin.
You take learning seriously and keep improving instead of stopping at “good enough.”
Different field, same determination when something matters.
Words, calculation, timing and composure — every tile becomes a decision.
Not every strength needs a score. Some are simply meant to be heard.
And then there are the smaller things — the serious moments, the funny ones, the reactions, the determination.
Those details are part of the story too.
A trip. A competition. A conversation. A photograph before everyone goes home.
At the time, they feel ordinary. Later, somehow, they are the moments you remember.
There are a few moments from that chapter that became like that for me.
Some trips are measured in kilometres. The ones you remember are measured in moments.
Before the rounds and scores — the beginning of the trip.
The competition was the reason for the journey. The moments around it became the memory.
The trip ended. Some of the memories stayed.
I am glad this chapter happened.
Not because every moment was perfect, and not because every memory needs to become something bigger.
Sometimes a chapter matters simply because of the people who were part of it.
A real memory, kept respectfully.
No reply needed.
No explanation needed.
No promise needed.
I just wanted to keep the good part of the story.
People grow. Friendships change. New places and new people become part of life.
Whatever happens next, I hope you keep learning, competing, running, singing and becoming the person you want to become.
Most of all, keep being Jing Xin.
Some chapters are worth remembering simply because they happened.
